Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Deployd is revolutionizing how developers deploy applications to the cloud. Our platform makes deployment as simple as a single command, handling all the complexity of infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring behind the scenes.

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help build the next generation of our deployment platform. You'll work on challenging problems involving distributed systems, real-time data pipelines, and developer-friendly interfaces that abstract away complexity.

• Design and build full-stack features for our deployment platform using React, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints that power our deployment automation
• Build real-time dashboards and monitoring interfaces using modern React patterns (hooks, context, suspense)
• Integrate with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Optimize application performance and database queries for handling thousands of concurrent deployments
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to improve deployment reliability and speed
• Write comprehensive tests (unit, integration, E2E) and participate in code reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical architecture decisions

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern React (hooks, context, suspense)
• Extensive experience with Node.js and building scalable backend services
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and real-time communication (WebSockets, SSE)
• Solid understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex distributed systems
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in remote-first teams

• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or other infrastructure-as-code tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Familiarity with Next.js, Remix, or other React frameworks
• Experience building developer tools or platform engineering
• Open source contributions or technical blog writing
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
